Videos with higher viewer retention

I have a few videos with a way higher viewer retention over everything in my channel, so, I might ask, how does this affect to my channel's exposure? I pretty much have a few videos that have more viewer retention but it doesn't affect much the sub count, even if I have a subscription call-to-action at the end of my videos.

Also I tried the experiment of posting daily during one single week to see if it can affect my channel's exposure.
 
Technically higher audience retention means more visibility for your videos so I think it's good! You should try to put leverage on those videos and see what you did there that could lend to more watch time also on other videos!

Ok, I appreciate the feedback. All i wanted to know is that if it really adds to the visibility and just that.

It won't for anything other than those specific videos. Those videos with a higher watch time will rank higher in the YouTube search engine, but they will have no direct impact on your other videos or channel outreach.

That's not to say it won't have an indirect affect though! Every video you upload is an extra link in the cobweb. Sure, it may be tiny now, but the more you add to it, the more flies you'll catch... catch my drift? ;) If you upload a video that ranks higher than the others, it may be the thing that brings them to your channel and makes them check out your other stuff.

I feel that this is what's working with me. I have some FIFA gaming videos, but due to that stuff being so common, I'm also uploading a series of transfer rumour videos, which is a lot more popular on my channel and yet still draws viewers to my other videos.
 
It can affect positively on your other video's on your channel, but with one condition.
The condition is when your specific video go viral and you can get so many views in a short time, then like for example 10% of those people for sure will come and look for more video's inside your channel.
I checked few channels recently that just one of their videos get from 2 to 20 million views just in a few days the their channel suddenly grows. :thumbsup2:
