Videos Not Showing on Channel's "Most Popular" Page

Hey, I'm not sure if anyone here can explain the inner workings of this thing we call YouTube. But I'll explain my confusion nonetheless. Every once in a while, a video or two doesn't show up on the "Most Popular" page of the channel's video page. Yet it will show up in "Newest" page and even will show up on the Video Manager's "Most Viewed" page. The video exists, but won't show up on the one page. This usually corrects itself within a week, but I've had two of my top videos that haven't shown for a month or so and then a few more have had the same problem starting about a week ago. Can anyone explain what is going on with that?

I've noticed on my feed that sometimes videos will be out of order. I think it just takes time to update for whatever reason, maybe to make sure the views are legitimate. Possibly it only updates once a day/week or something.

Yes, I get that all the time too. Sometimes it takes a few weeks for the amount of views to get confirmed and then that video moves into its proper spot in the "Most Viewed/Popular" list. My OP is about missing videos from the "Most Popular" page. They remain missing as of today... as they have been for a very long time now. : I

Sometimes Youtube is just slow.

I've even had videos show up on my popular section out of order. Which is weirder cause it moved the video up, but in the wrong spot. It always adjusts tho.

I'm talking about some of my oldest, and most watched, videos not showing up on the "Most Popular" page of the channel's video page. Nothing to do with how slow Youtube can be in sorting the videos in order.

Strange. It appears that other channels aren't experiencing this.

It still appears that I'm the only one with this problem?? I'm usually missing about 3 of my top videos on the "Most Popular" page - but it's far worse now! Only 28 videos of my 500+ videos are showing. They're all there on the "Newest" page, the Video Manager, and the most viewed sorting of the Video Manager. They just don't show up on the Most Popular page. Really, I'm the only one??

just noticed this happens on my secondary channel as well

"most popular" isn't just views. it includes other interactions such as likes, comments and shares, as well as watch time. at least, i'm pretty sure it does. as well as this, the time period in which these were collated comes into it.

No, they're sorted by view count.

I have seen this bug for some months now. Sometimes my most popular video disappears for some hours from the list then reappears. But there are missing videos as well. I was planning to write e-mail to YouTube technical team about this, but always something with more priority pops up, so I just live with this bug. Anyway the most popular videos are getting their views from other sources.
