Video Statistics Plug-in.

Been using it for a while out of curiosity. It's a nice tool. And I think when I installed it I checked the FAQ and they display the word count because according to their research videos with more words per minute have a higher retention rate. Doesn't help when the content sucks I guess but maybe there is some truth in it. Not sure.

I use this plugin, it's pretty helpful, but I haven't gotten much help from viewing other YouTubers' tags.
That's like the NUMBER 1 thing I use this for! I'm working on a guide to post about keyword research and such, this is gonna be included.

I was using this to check out people who complain about what other youtubers are doing, and pretty much all of these ppl where tagging stuff in their videos that had nothing to do with them looool so now anytime someone comes on here with something like 'This guy keeps disliking my videos or this guy is hating on me' Im gonna use this first before i decided to help them or not

Yes, I was using VidIQ to explain to the young man that he was in jeopardy of violating community standards and losing his channel.

Any clue what the "word per minute" is? Surely they can't guess how many words you speak..am I being silly? (yes)

YouTube creates a transcript for each video. There is an icon under the video (on a PC) to see the text. I would assume that VidIQ uses that data to estimate the Words Per Minute. That being said, it is recommended to have higher-paced videos with more WPM for YouTube presentations. It's too easy for a viewer to get bored and click on something else.
