Hi, I have taken a break from my channel for the summer.
I have been travelling and shooting video in interesting locations.
Now I am back and I have tried to upload a video, for over two days, but, after uploading, my video get stuck in processing forever.
I have contacted youtube help, but no real help.
What do I have to do?
My channel is not huge, I have around 4000 subscriber in less than two years.
What do I have to do? Give up my channel?

Try changing file type. Sometimes AVI will stall. I use MP4 these days and never have an issue.

Thank you for your reply, but it is a MP4.
Same format as I have always used and never happened to me before.

Moved to the recording / editing / production / software / hardware forum. :)

It could just be a temporary glitch on YouTube's servers - Trying again later usually works.

If you're still having issues, make sure you have disabled all ad blockers and then maybe try again. They now have 2 uploaders, the "normal" one and the "beta" - Maybe try both of them? :)

Yes, I have tried both uploaders, and no ad blockers

Your next step is to identify if the issue is YouTube, network, your PC, software. or ISP supplier that is the problem.

Try uploading from another PC, use another ISP service (relative or library), try ethernet and wifi. That way you can pin down the problem,

Laptops are handy in this situation.

As you are using MP4 also try AVI.

It can also be due to file corruption so try another editor/compressor.

Thank you for your input Rob.
I did some experimenting, as you suggested: I tried to upload it in a second YT channel that I hardly ever use, and it worked perfectly.
Then back to my main channel, and stuck again in processing.
So, I assume that the problem is not with the video, or with the format, or the ISP, but with my channel.
What to do?

Log out, clear cache and clear cookies, log back in again and try again. Report back if it works. :)

+1 on that. Good move. Might even be worth running CCleaner on it.

Could just be trash causing a conflict.

Cheers Rob
