Video length.

i use to do a lot of short clips but all the tagging and junk turned into a burden and people unsubbed because i was spamming em too much. I then just switched to keeping the missions together and i think the clips are much better that way. i usually will also hide more of the duller parts of the let's play at the end of the clip and i think people watching it understands better that it's a long playthrough as i usually record about 2-3 hours ata time. :)
 
I usually do 7-15. Try to cut them up into episodes or parts about that long. Just pause and the video when you hit that length, then just start recording after it's saved. That way you can get more views for each individual video, and viewers won't get bored on a single video. :D.

Each mission is actually pretty long and the dialogs are too, and I don't feel like cutting the video off right in a dialog or mission.

But I also don't want to bore my viewers with 30-40 minute long videos.

Can someone help me here? What do you recommend?

I would recommend 10-20 minutes. Like you say cut scenes are long and it's not like you'll be taking through them, so it'll give viewers something else to watch/listen to other than running around and battle scenes/commentary :)

It could wind up being a bit complex to edit, but you could always do like main missions, side quests seperately?

Not sure. I don't know how to title in that case.
 
Well this was helpful for me as well... I was going to ask the same question. 20 minutes sounds good. I agree that you shouldn't cut through scenes or dialogue. :)
