Video format feedback please :)

Hey guys,

Just launched a new channel and its more of a montage style channel of splicing photos and videos togeather to make the content. I have never used this format before so if you have a spare minute or two can you checkout this video and let me know if you think it flows ok ?


I know the host isnt speaking very naturally on the intro, I have brought that up with her. I also feel that the outro is too long so I will probably edit that.

Cool I like it but you could do some things better, the music I think was a poor choice maybe try a happier more upbeat song to entice people to want to visit the jellyfish, this music fits a 'mystery of the deep' kinda video. Interaction is also a poor spot in this video like you mentioned the woman seemed very unnatural during the intro but throughout the video you have nothing to keep the audiences attention maybe some text alongside the clips or the woman narrating some stuff to the viewer could help fill this. Try adding some fun facts at the bottom to keep the viewer watching :). Lastly, I suggesting removing the Bucket List Suggestions at the bottom left or just saying BLS at the top right and make it a watermark so people can subscribe allowing you to remove the subscribe button at the bottom as well.
Over all great potential just needs a few touch ups :D
 
I agree with the points that the HumbleZeus brought up. The intro with the lady gave me the impression that she was going to make commentary while the footage and pictures of the jellyfish came up. I was a bit thrown off when the clips were displayed. Otherwise, it is not a bad video at all. Changing the music and adding the narrative can make a huge difference for the particular video. Make it clear what you want the viewers to watch.
