Video Exporting Times.

Life is awesome!
Why does it take like 4 hours to get to 75% while converting a video? To be fair, this is my longest video ever, but what exactly happens in that process to make it take up all of my processor and still take forever to convert?
 
Usually it depends on how long the video is, what file type you are converting it to, and the resolution of whatever the video is

Yeah I export in either 1080p or 720p when I want it to go faster, so I know that drags it down. Part of it is that it converts it to a .wmv file from avi, jpg, and mp3 files. This time it's a 25 minute video, which is my longest yet so that definitely slows it down, but I still don't understand how that takes all of my processor.

You probably have only one processor, go to your task manager and find your exporting software process and take a look at what priority it has

I just turned it up to high priority, so it should go faster. My processor sucks but it is a dual core so it's not as bad as it could be. Meanwhile, I'll have to see you later so that I can let it work on it's own without chrome on.
 
What CPU do you have ?
Because i'm using a Phenom II X4 955 @4.2GHz and it takes 3 hours for a 30 minutes video .
Well , it depends mainly on how many frames the video has . And that depends on what did you record .
If you record your desktop you'll have less frames than a gameplay from Battlefield 3 for example .
But yeah , 4 hours for a 25 minutes video it's too much in my opinion .
You should check your rendering settings or change your PC .

I've got a 1.4 ghz dual core so it's not all that great so I'm going to get a new computer.
