Video Editing Software

Some video editing software suits the person's needs perfectly and there'll be no need to get some fancy software if you don't need it.

An idea would be to find youtubers who make the sort of videos you want to make and find out what software they use so you at least can start on the right foot.

That's a brilliant idea! I never thought about that:confused:! Genius:pompus:. Thank you for helping me out so good!;)

I'm using final cut pro right now. I find it pretty similar to imovie, which should be already installed in any Mac computers. However, Final Cut pro has way more options and makes my videos look more interesting with their different effects. I haven't purchased it yet, since it's pretty pricey. I'm just using their free trial.

Try Lightworks! Its a free to use editor whichcan do basic editing like dve, overlay, cut, etc. It should be simple enough after maybe 1-2 videos and if you aren't going to do things extremely fancy, lightworks would be a great place to start video editing. :D

For the most part, the answers ain't gonna change on this question. About 95% of people will either say Premiere, Vegas, or Final Cut, and I would wager that the wide majority of people use some iteration of Premiere.

Thanks girl for the tipp ;). But right no I only use my mac to make my music because it doesn't have enough memory.
Maybe when I get an external hard drive this will be an option. But for now I use windows for the videos.

It's also one of those questions that keep getting asked over and over again, and your right, people keep answering with the some software packages.

Yeah. I think there needs to be a few "standard q&a" things. Heck it's not like you even need to search for it.

Trying not to be cynical here but when you don't even need to get off the front page to see five of the same thread...
