Video Editing Programs? And best cameras to use?

For Windows I recommend Sony Vegas, or something more affordable: AVS Video Editor. As for camera, I suggest the Canon EOS Rebel T3i, usually can be found for under $500 including the lens and is an incredible deal, $ for $.
 
If you're tight for a budget theres always that adobe cloud thingy that gives you access to all the tools. paying the monthly rate would take 3 years or so to match the retail cost for one product
