VIdeo editing problems/Computer Hardware issues?

Hey folks I'm still fairly new to the YTTalk community, so I apologize if this thread isn't in the right place.

How do you guys address and communicate computer issues to your viewers? I made a post on twitter letting people know my new video would be out this week, and then yesterday I had to do a full restore on my machine, which has left me re-installing everything. (I backed up my project files, but I still have to re-install everything on my machine)

It's frustrating, but I want people who see my videos to know that I am still creating content, and I want to create a viewing schedule that is reliable, so that people know when my videos will be released.

Has anyone else encountered this issue??
Thanks (again, sorry if this post isn't in the right place!)

Haven't experienced it personally, but I would either explain why I was gone in my next video after my computer had been fixed. Or I would borrow a friends PC and edit a quick video on that. I would tweet about it also, but not many people who are subscribed to me follow me.

Windows Movie Maker is soooo annoying when it comes to splicing video clips. Part the added sound audio would dissappear after the video clip is trimmed. Geez. :/

I made a post on my YT page updating why my video was not uploaded, because my computer wasn't connecting to the internet and it was having problems so im still sitting here fixing things...
