Video Dislikes

I do nothing and go about my day. I generally receive more likes than dislikes on my videos, so I am not worried at all about that stuff. Dislikes are rarely accompanied by a constructive comment (if a comment at all). Some people dislike to dislike. It makes them feel all bad-a** behind their computer screen. While in reality they usually can't absorb even the smallest of jabs.
 
i feel like it depends on the kind of video you put out there. for my standup videos, if someone gives it a thumbs down, i figure they don't think i'm funny. if someone thumbs down a tutorial video i've made...then i start to analyze the video, and see if i missed something, or if i wasn't clear enough during the explanation. it comes down to the type of videos you're putting out there in my opinion.
 
If I get almost no dislikes, it means I'm not getting enough views. I have had, or been im a rare video with a high amount of dislikes as compared to likes. In that case I look into it more, but it could be because it's branded, the subject matter, who I collabed with, and prob a one off type thing.
 
If the dislike isn't accompanied by constructive criticism, I try and just move forward. I'll always want to improve but there are a million different reasons why someone might dislike a video. I can't make any adjustments to the channel if I don't have the feedback to go on.
 
I know few you tubers who block video likes completely because of a few dislikes which is so stupid as it blocks off the people who actually want to give constructive criticism.
 
It's important to know you will never please everybody...a dislike doesn't mean you are not good...even a you tuber with thousands of subscribers will get dislikes...it can happen to anyone! :)
