Video choices not appearing on side list

My son watches videos on YouTube on small minimised screen. Usually the next suggested videos come up in a list on the right hand side. He then scrolls through and finds another when he’s bored of the one on. From this morning this doesn’t happen and I cannot get this to resolve. Auto play is on. Help please.

try enlarging the browser window
also, on PC you can press&hold Ctrl & rotate mouse scroll wheel while the mouse pointer is located somewhere on the browser
