VidCon Community or Creator

Dear Gamer

I've Got It
If you plan on attending VidCon this year how would you attend. This would be my first year going so I was leaning towards community attendee but one of my friends went last year and he said going as a creator is worth it. You get to meet a lot of big names and hangout with them.

What do you think?

I think it depends on how well established you are. If you already have a theme, consistency, and some form of a fanbase then I'd say creator is worth it.

I'd only suggest creator if you already have a pretty decent following. Otherwise, I think community is pretty good.

So what is the difference then, are do you hang out in a different area? or How does Creator and Community different when you sign up? I'm in LA now so there is a good chance I'm going ;)

You get access to a keynote, panel, workshop, and reception. Also you can attend the 2nd floor of the convention but I don't know what's up there.

I bought the creator pass last year and it really was worth it! You can attend all of the community events (except the signings), and all of the creator pannels, keynotes, and workshops. Most of the speakers (some of which were the big YouTubers with signings) stayed after the panel to talk to creators if they didn't have anywhere to be, so you got to meet them anyway, and in a more personal setting! There were also really cool lounges on the second floor, which was only accessible to creator and industry passes. You feel super cool flashing your pass in order to get up the escalator ;)

Really depends on how much you have got and figured out on your channel. With that being said, if you do have a decent following than you can go as a creator and maybe meet other channels that are around the same size. It really makes more of a connection than just msg someone collab
