Who is excited for this!?
As a person whom always wanted to attend vidcon but haven't been able because I live in EU and travel is way too expensive right now. Go vidcon AMSTERDAM!

Not really, just means that eventually, you'll need to show your passport. Amsterdam is in the schengen area so yes currently eu citizens are exempt, exiting the eu will just mean you need a passport, as you need already if going to France or germany.

As interesting as it may be, Amsterdam is still far from where I live. Is there anything worth seeing at this vidcon anyway?

Depends who goes/shows up to it. It's an opportunity to connect with bigger tubers, maybe get some sponsorships from small/medium/big companies, maybe some that don't interact too much on the online spectrum but in person they can really supply your needs. Etc...
 
If you make your decision now, the early bird tickets are significantly reduced. 150€ isn't cheap, but it's pretty reasonable compared with other cons you might attend.
Our little YouTube circle grabbed ours already.
