Vidcon 2015, Are you going?!?!

I wish I could go, but I am unable to because I live on the East coast :(. If Vidcon had an event in the future that was on the East coast, I could probably go.

This will be my second year. I went in 2013 and loved it! Hoping to be more social this time around. I pretty much wandered aimlessly last time. The only YouTubers I knew at that time were the Shaytards and iJustine. :p

Awesome Niki! So, how did the interactions go with them, were they similar to what you'd expect them to be in person?
Yes, they were great. The staff was trying to rush fans through, but the family really took time to talk with each person, sign things, take pictures. They wanted to know how I became interested in YouTube, where I was from. They were very down to earth.

The rushed part does seem a bit disappointing if it means that you don't have as much time to interact with each youtuber there, though I sorta understand why due to VidCon being packed. :( However, that's awesome that hear that they are very friendly and you managed to have a great time there! :)

Where is vidcon this year? And when is it? I don't really know anything about it as I am new to YouTube community. I don't even know if I am a big enough youtuber to go. I only have 300 subscribers. Are there any benefits to going to vidcon if you are new to the game? Any of u who have gone before , is vidcon good for growing your subscriber numbers and networking? I'm in California if that helps.

Vidcon is gonna be in Anaheim, so if you're nearby, it'd have been worth it to go! At this stage though, I don't know if you'll be able to make it, just because I believe all tickets are sold out. I've never been to Vidcon and won't make it this year (hopefully next!), but from what I understand, it's definitely a great way to meet other content creators, network and grow from there, so definitely beneficial no matter how new or old you are to YouTube :)

Thanks Hun. I looked it up and unfortunately that month I will have a client so will be unable to attend. I have a client pretty much the whole summer. :-( and I'm in north Cali so I'd definitely need to make a trip out of it with hotel and everything so I think it is a little too late to do that. My intentions for going to vidcon one day though would be solely selfish reasons (I have to admit) and it would simply be to get as many subscribers as I can and put the word out about my channel as much as humanly possible. Perhaps if I think it's worthwhile I might go next year if I am still living in California. *shrug*

R u serious? Does a youtuber have to get invited to go to vidcon? I thought only the guest speakers and stuff had to be invited. And other than that, I thought anyone could go? Oh snap. Well, if I live in Cali next year I'd love to go if I think it is worth it. I'm just a newbie so definitely not going to be invited to be a speaker or anything lol. But wonder if I need to be invited just to purchase a ticket for the conference ? OboOO?
