if your still deciding on vegas. yes it is personal preference but vegas is simple and easy to use i personally would keep at it with vegas for a while it might grow on you

I've done 1 video with Cyberlink Powerdirector 11 and so far I like it. I like Adobe, but they seem to be douchebags, and PD 11 seems WAY cheaper. Today is my first day of the demo, so I have a little while to test out Cyberlink's program. I will let you know... I didn't like vegas right off the bat, Powerdirector and Premiere seemed easier to use for beginners.

I made my first video with Powerdirector and uploaded it, it seems to hold the quality fairly well even when getting to Youtube. I've had issues with other programs. So far Cyberlink is WAY easy for the effects I did. I'm going to play with it more later when I get back from bowling and edit my downhill mountain biking video, it should be pretty badass.

YES! (if your really low on money just torrent it i know its illegal but that should be your last resort )

i think that vegas is like tied with after effects and premier is like a advanced movie maker or somethin or i may be wrong....

Im sorry, did you just say Vegas is tied with After Effects? Lol no. Ive been using AE for years, and ive seen Vegas. There is no debate that AE is far better. The only thing that you can compare After effects to is Hitfilms.

I tried Sony vegas and deleted it after day 1. Cyberlink power director I cool so far. I liked premiere pro, but it's pricey, so I may have to go with cyberlink. Cyberlink PD 11 seems easy to use too so far. I'll test out more effects later on, I want to do a telepathic beer grab and I think I know how to do it, I will have to mess with the program though

nah im sorry thats a bias and ignorant opinion xD i just used vegas for like a week and stopped working with it hahaha sorry again
