Vegas rendering configuration tutorial (New update coming soon!)

The brightness fix is very cool but I always find it easier to have a seperate track on the video project that haas the gamma turned up to about 1.7/2 then any dark sections of the video I drag up into that video track. Works a charm :D

Quite a lot of times, people suggest your sync your recording settings with your rendering settings. Could you possibly post those as well for whatever recording software you use? From that, I should be able to alter them for mine if you don't use Dxtory. Thanks!

OMG, dude that is awesome. You can not imagine the fits I've been throwing just because it takes so long and if you are lucky it crashes in the meantime. Will give that a go for my next video.

How long would it take to render a 20GB video file?

Depends more on the length of the video from my experience, not the original file size

I usually use .wmv for rendering cos the quality is decent enough and ir renders SO much faster than .mp4 it also has better file sizes, but I've been noticing .wmv videos have started artifacting a lot on yotube lately

I'm sure this was probably asked already, but the thread is huge so...

If you set the priority of Vegas, is that just temporary (I.E. I have to do it every time), or is it a permanent thing? I'm one of those weirdos that HAS to have my stuff stay at 1080, and my settings make my renders super slow.
