Vegas rendering configuration tutorial (New update coming soon!)

Till now i use fraps/total media extreme 2 for capturing,
megui for rendering and mkvmerge for merging my videos.

but for my new sidejob I have to put watermarks, effect and such things on there vids. so i got sony vegas (i think 10). today evening i will try youre settings for it.
im very unexperianced with settings like this. i hope it helps me :)

I use WMV 1280 x 720 at 30fps because I find that WMV just has better quality. Am I the only one? And whenever I render out montages, I render it at WMV 1080 60fps because I feel that during montages, having clips switch so fast or slowing down the timeline, the extra 30 frames really do a difference. Even if youtube lowers the fps count, I still believe it is better to get the best quality possible.

I'm really need helps right now... I have a 15 minutes video and I'm rendering it, the time needed is more than 10 hours now and it keeps increasing. Anyone have some ideas??

If you have a GPU and a CPU, it will help you a ton in rendering. Like 200% help.

CPU+GPU = 5mins of render.
CPU only= 30mins of render

I have i5-2320 and Sapphire 6950.:D

7,000,000
6,000,000
is a bit low or not? I might lower mine so I can have less space.

Another thing
Know if you have CUDA or OpenCL. This is easy.

Just know if you're using Nvida or AMD
Nvidia = CUDA
AMD = OpenCL

What is your specs?

I have a Core i7-3612QM and AMD Radeon HD 7600M
and the rendering time is 22 hours now and still increasing!! What is my problem!!

Yeh sure, I have checked the graphic driver. That's why I'm confusing!! But I'm wondering ... my source video size is pretty large, is that a problem??
