I always practice my intro before recording. And when I'm recording, I sway my head around when I speak long sentences and not look at the game to focus on what I say. That's actually helped me improve with my live commentary. Also, if I don't have anything to say, I stay silent for a while or extend a word I'm saying. Like if I run out of stuff to say, I say "ooooooooookaaaaaayy" while I sway my head around thinking of stuff to say.
eer... It's hard not to do it. It's quite a normal thing to do, as it apparently is meant to keep a conversation uh..going. I um was reading an artical about it one time.
