Utter nightmare today :(

The drive that I put all my Raw files onto has suddenly decided, ironically enough, to become a RAW File System, which means I can't access it. This is the worst, all the recovery tools, I need to pay for, so I think I am just going to cut my losses and format it. There were only one or two more videos to put onto Youtube anyway

Darn it that's horrible. Try to make sure you back up to multiple places next time .

Aye, need to remember that, I need to get a 2nd External Hard Drive for that purpose. I am glass half full though, it was on ly about two or three recordings, and I have enough content on Youtube scheduled to last until the 23rd so I can fix it. I can recover

Yeah, coulda been worse. Most of it was on my PC anyway, sionce it had served as a backup when I got a new PC. Recuva is deep scanning it right now and seems to be finding files, I hope at the end of it I can then pull them[DOUBLEPOST=1395172134,1395170864][/DOUBLEPOST]Well, this recovery program I am now using (MiniTool Power Data Recovery) appears to be doing the trick

Aye. I record my webcam onto one of my internal drives but that's no good when the gameplay and audio are missing. Still, this program hnas worked some strange levels of magic and I have recovered what I needed to recover to get two more videos out of. Will be recovering some miscellaneous stuff tomorrow from the drive with this program, and then I shall be formatting it and setting the file structure up to be the same as before[DOUBLEPOST=1395225355,1395182407][/DOUBLEPOST]Phew. Formatted it back from RAW to NTFS, and am pasting all the files back into it - with any luck, the file dependencies for my programs won't hav echanged since I have not opened them, and it is going back to the same Drive Letter
