usually only 10%-30% subscribers watch videos?

A contributing factor is also the fact that youtube doesn't show you all the videos of people you are subscribed to. Quite often I have found I have missed a load of videos from somebody I'm subscribed too and I don't normally have the time to watch them all to catch up.

I don't really watch vloggers, vloggers and gamers seem to have a generally low view to subscriber ratio for some reason, it might have to do with how easily the content is produced but who knows
I dont think it's because how easy the content is. I mean ive seen people just point an shoot an have a great audience. Take AngryGrandpa for example. All of those videos are pretty much the same, an old man yelling and destroying things. Not much editing. Yes they have gotten lucky an was featured on RWJ an who knows where else an they have a decent audience. Even before they were featured.

This is an unfair thing to say, the amount of time I spend editing my video's is sometimes ridiculous. There's lots of cutting to do and making sure it's all working well.

What you have to remember is how often you upload. If you upload 1 video a week you're bound to get good views to subscribers compared to someone that daily uploads[DOUBLEPOST=1393248719,1393248641][/DOUBLEPOST]
I also think the more people start thinking about their own channel. The less they focus on other channels.
I'm sick of seeing 'this youtuber gets more % views than me' each channel is unique rather than compare subscriber to view rates why not think about what they could do better to increase that percentage

I'm not pointing towards that at all with my comment.
Me personally was viewing more youtube videos before I started making video's myself. Not to mention I'm not even an active youtuber. I publish my work when I feel like publishing something. So in that case. I do try to improve myself and in the mean time I always help others when they ask for help. :)

I never said it was at you. lol x)

yeah ive noticed this as well for a long time people think if they have so many subscribers than thats what their videos should be averaging but isnt true at all. every subscriber isnt going to be as active as others.

I mean I'm subbed to a lot of people whose content I do genuinely enjoy, but I just don't have the time or interest to watch every video... That's why it's so important to have good video thumbnail gfx and title
