Using your channel to help others!

Hi-ho folks! Turwinkle and I just did a wonderful two part episode called the Running of the Gnomes 2013! The World of Warcraft community banded together and made over one thousand pink haired and tabbard gnomes and ran from Gnomergan to Booty Bay for Breast Cancer awareness month! We raised $1,305 dollars for the Cleveland Clinic!

The reason I bring this up is..without my channel on Youtube..I would not have had the wonderful opportunity to help promote this great event! I was honored they came to me asked for Turwinkle to help promote this great cause.

How about you folks? Has your channel been used to help a charity event or something along those lines? Love to see what you folks are doing!

Back in 2009 we did a a thing called Laughs for Charity. We did collabs with as many people as possible and then spent our whole YouTube check for that month on toys to give to children at the childrens' hospital. It was a lot of fun and felt really nice =)
