Using twitter to gain exposure to your channel.

Hey friends! I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend!.
I just wanted to discuss a method I've been using to gain some attention to my channel.
So for all of you that use twitter, there is a google chrome extension called tweetdeck.
Tweetdeck is awesome because it has several columns that you can customize, for example let's say I was interested in people tweeting about socks. In tweetdeck I could put in the search term "socks" and it would give me a LIVE update about everyone that mentions the word "socks" in their tweet.
So you're probably asking how this can benefit you?
What I've been doing is setting it so anytime someone likes a YouTubers video that has similar content to mine, I see it, and then I will go and favorite that tweet.
By going and hitting that "favorite" button you're creating an opportunity that that person will see your twitter which you can use to direct them towards your YouTube.
Note: It's important that in your twitter bio you reference your YouTube, otherwise they won't be able to find it!

I can't say how many subs or views this has gotten me, but I do it every night and I know I atleast get 5-10 new twitter followers a day from it, so some of that must translate to youTube

i dont use much apps in chrome, i do use some extensions but their more for privacy.

though now that im using twitter more i definitely have to try this. thanks for the tip.
