I am thinking of using some old tech & toy commercials from companies like toys r us, Atari, IBM, Apple, Radio Shack & Commodore in some videos. I can not find if these would kill my monetization or activate a copyright flag. Some of the companies are no longer but some still are in business so I know this is a real gray area and am looking to see if anyone can help give me more info. My gut says its not worth the risk but on the other hand I also see some folks publish a lot of these older commercials, so I'm just looking for some guidance here.
