Uploading Profile Pic

Soo, my YouTube Account is connected to my Google + profile and so I have to upload my profile pic through there. BUT! When I try uploading it never works! It says the dimensions have to be (and correct me if i'm wrong) at least 250 X 250 pixels, and every picture works, but it still doesn't work. I have a google nexus 7, so I guess if I uploaded a pic from that it might work, but idk. Any help?

If you cant find a resolution and you are sure you did everything correct try again later it may be a youtube glitch i notice i am having like issues updating things like channel art for example on my other channel.
