Soo, my YouTube Account is connected to my Google + profile and so I have to upload my profile pic through there. BUT! When I try uploading it never works! It says the dimensions have to be (and correct me if i'm wrong) at least 250 X 250 pixels, and every picture works, but it still doesn't work. I have a google nexus 7, so I guess if I uploaded a pic from that it might work, but idk. Any help?
 
I've had a few problems with Google/YouTube and uploading pictures ;) If your file format is .png, try to convert to .jpg. That usually does the trick for me ;)
 
TheNM22 They are already .jpg. I just tried again, and for some reason, it worked this time. ._. I have no idea how, but for some miraculous reason it did, haha. You are a miracle worker! lol Thanks!

That's typical :P Whenever I get involved, stuff just seems to get magically fixed :P

Also if some friends or family ask me to look at their computer. I just have to turn it on and then "Problem fixed!" :P
 
In your settings, I believe right under your email address there's an option to unlink your Google+ account from your YouTube account. I can't remember exactly where in the settings, but I know it's in there.
 
for the future you could always unlink from your GMail account and use the channel under a channel name etc, this is what I do and I never have any problems anymore when I want to change anything over
