Uploading old videos??

Hi,
I have gained a lot of subscribers since I uploaded my first video about half a year ago. But I don’t think my new subscribers have seen my old videos. Do any of you have any experience with uploading old videos again?? Good or bad??
 
you could do a video reacting to old videos rather than reuploading it, i havent done it, but it seems like a good strategy to get them to watch it, and give them a link as well.

Not necessarily bad but your old subs would wonder why are the contents being repeated.

Anyways, they (new ones) could always browse if they're keen. You don't have to win them over again when they're already subbed in the first place.
 
I wouldn't just straight up re-upload. But you can refer to them, or re create them?
 
Upload a NEW video, but talk about the value of your old videos. This will not only refresh the memories of old subs that may want to go back and watch, but will also grab the attention of new subs and send them searching. Put your older videos in a playlist and link out to the playlist via clickable annotation so they don't have to look for them.
 
If the video is lower quality because you were new and didn't really know what you were doing (*cough* like most of my old videos *cough*) and you just want to cover some of the same information in a better way, then just recreate the video and make it better than the original.

If the old video is great as is and simply didn't get many views - then create a new video on the subject but perhaps not covering the exact same thing, and direct people to your older video in there. You kill two birds with one stone: 1) you get people to visit the old video, and 2) you're extending your viewer's watch session by getting them to watch 2+ videos in a row, which will make the algorithm favour you.
