At the beginning of my channel when it was my friend Michael and I, he uploaded about once a day and it of course took awhile to gain a few subscribers, but we eventually did it. Soon we decided to separate into two channels, as it was more convenient for us. My internet was very good then so I could upload almost everyday, which I did. Well for awhile my internet decided to suck, so I've only been uploading about thrice, and occasionally only twice a week. After examining Michael's channel he seems to be garnering more view and subscribers and he uploads daily. Recently my internet issues have been resolved so I have the option to upload daily. Would that be better than releasing fewer episodes like before? In your opinion are daily uploads better for your channel?

You should really just decide on a schedule and stick with it.
If your content is consistent and good even if it's a daily upload then I think it should be fine, if you want to go with a daily upload schedule.

I agree with the schedule thing. I'll have to take some time to organize that.

decide on a schedule man because if you always upload vids you wont get as many views due to your subs getting bored of your content quicker. And when you dont post content all the time you can plan out your videos making them much better resulting in more views likes comments etc.

I have become of the opinion daily uploads are a bad idea. When I was doing it each video would get like 40 or 50 views, and people were missing my videos all the time. It's best to give your subs time to catch up, give them a few days to come see what your latest was. If you don't they'll just watch the video you uploaded the day they happened to see it in their feed, and your videos as a whole will get less views. When I quit doing the daily thing, we were back up to around 100 or so views per video.

I find it hard enough to upload 2 videos a week! lol. The time it takes me to write, film and edit each video, I would have to youtube full time to do daily videos.

I'd say either stick to a schedule. I was making videos everyday but I realized, quickly, that it produces crappy content and less views... Take time to plan your videos, let some ideas brew in your head, and film/record it when you are ready. Also, don't be afraid to redo something, even after making it, if you feel that it's poop.

People like schedules, and everyday might be too much for vlogging but for gaming it seems to work for a lot of people. Take the 100yengamer (member of this forum). He's had tremendously success in about 6-8 months. You might want to seek out his post in strategies and technique advice area. Oh, I believe Wreaklesseating uploads daily and they are pulling in all kinds of giant numbers, so I just believe it's depends on the genre. I also don't think having a schedules automatically means diluted quality.
