Yes, good software costs money. This is not a surprise. The OP stated money is an issue, therefore free suggestions are perfectly valid.

It does not work with elgato

Isn't elgato capable of just screendumping to a PC? All Wirecast does is stream what's on your screen. So if you can stream from Elgato to your PC monitor, you can stream Wirecast to YouTube.

If not, well that kinds sucks. Honestly... free Xsplit isn't bad. I've used it a few times and the results were pretty decent.

it has crappy quality and frames per second i refuse to use the free xsplit

I'd just wait till you can afford Xsplit then, I only use Xsplit myself but if you don't want to buy the big packs just get a 3 month pack for $14.99
