Unrelated Viral Video

I've Got It
Hello Everyone,
Before I went on my hiatus, I posted a video with my dog going crazy over a vacuum cleaner hose. That video has generated over 40k views since then. Thats great and all but it isn't generating traffic to my other videos (gaming related) and I feel like it is obscuring my actual growth rate (views from gaming). How should I handle this? I really don't care about the video and don't mind deleting it if it means I can get my views back to what my channel is really about. Could I maybe turn this video into something good for my channel other than views and push people to my other videos? Any advice is awesome.

Unless you want to make a dog channel, simply sit back, smile, and enjoy that you got a tiny viral video. By the way, 40,000 views isn't normally considered a viral video. Those usually bring in at least a million views. What you can do is put a capper onto the end of that dog video that advertises your gaming channel. In the capper, hold your dog (the star of that video) in your lap as you talk about your gaming channel. This probably won't get you many subscribers but it can't hurt.

I remember when the video hit and saw it sky rocket at first, my first thought was that my dog was more popular than me. lol
Well....your dog has 100x more views than your 2nd most popular video so....I don't know. Maybe a collab with the dog or maybe he'll give you a shoutout if you give him a dog biscuit or something.

Yea why not just combine it and include your dog into your videos? That way you have something that's unique and special because not everyone has a dog. even PewDiePie films with his pug sometimes. :)
