Uninformed Game Commentary

As long as the videos are entertaining it wouldnt matter if your good at a particular game or not. As long as you are having fun and showing interest the audiance will too. I would try to get some desent equipment though later. You should always be recording in HD and you should have a good mic. No excuse for not having either one of these.

I have a decent mic that I invested in over Christmas. I am currently saving up for a desktop.[DOUBLEPOST=1371304435,1371223789][/DOUBLEPOST]So, does anyone have any ideas for what I could call this series? It is going to have to suggest that I have little or no experience, but is entertaining...

Thanks!

I just played a pub match on Dota 2 .
I pretty much raped everything with a retarded hero but i can't use the footage on my channel because it was a stomp and you can't teach anything when stomping this bad .
I can record it with different points of view . Directed ( pretty much jumps automatically to the action across the map ) and Player's Prospective . You'll see what i was doing when i was playing .
It's a 31 mins match . Let me know ;)

That would be awesome dude! I have heard a bit about Dota, but never played it or know too much about it. It would make for a great couple of videos. We could do this through Google Drive, or one of the sites like mediafile. Up to you dude :)

It's the same for me . Do you want the raw footage ? It will be about 16gbs i believe . Can Google Drive handle that ?
For the camera ? Do you want the directed camera or my prospective ?

Um... Would anything be different between the raw footage, and the non-raw footage apart from file-size? If not, then I would prefer it to be smaller because Google Drive can only handle 5GB I believe. Also, whichever perspective is more entertaining and will make for some good commentary. Also, does it only have game sound?

Ye i didn't record it but Dota 2 saves replays from your recent games .
So only ingame sounds .I'll have to record it and upload .
And since Google Drive has a 5 GB limit i might need to edit i a little bit . I'm gonna edit one clip from BF3 from today and you'll se if the quality is good enough . You can see my quality on YT but yeah , i guess if i give you the original file it's better .

Ok, you could always send it through another site. Or split them up into smaller clips and then I can put them together on this side. :) Quality wise, 720p and pref 29.7 FPS with minimum lag is what I look for. :)

Well , i have 120 FPS while playing Dota so yeah , no lag .
720p and 29.7 is ok for me . In this case i'll need to edit it and that might take me a day . I mean , tomorrow i'll give you the clip . Mainly because it's almost 0200 here and tomorrow i have to work lol .
