unable to upload? :(

since I've switched over to the new layout.. first off I couldn't upload a banner (channel art) bigger then 400mb (that's fixed and is at the normal 1mb now). But, I tried to upload my monday video yesterday.. and it failed to upload, I tried again today because it's been around 5 days since my last video and I'm losing subscribers like mad! and it's failed to upload 3 times today! (twice on 1 pc and once on my laptop).
I've never had this problem before.. I've used 3 different browsers and 2 different PC's.. it gets to 99% and then the youtube page just freezes! not the browser.. just the 1 youtube page...

anyone had this problem and fixed it? I've done numerous google searches and been all over the youtube help section and haven't seen a single thing about this.. and it's really getting bad now, I've got a schedule of uploading on monday, wednesday and friday.. I didn't upload last friday, this monday and at this rate won't be able to upload tomorrow! It's so disheartening watching my subscribers drop at this rate.. video views drop and no comments to reply to :/
need a fix or something ASAP

P.S. I've tried changing back, by going to www.youtube.com/onechannel and hitting switch but it still didn't let me upload! :(

I had problems today uploading a video for my gaming channel. It said the file was corrupted, but when I uploaded it later in the day it uploaded just fine.

Could you define losing subscribers like mad? If they truly like your channel then why would they leave due to waiting for a few days.

They could possibly be updating something. I know I have issues uploading during their updates. Also try different browsers.

Guess I'll just have to keep waiting and trying then... :/

I'm losing around 1-3 everyday.. I know I have loads of inactive subscribers from when I did minecraft videos like 6-8 months ago.. but why don't youtube just take them all off in 1 big go -.-

I can't seem to find much around which you haven't tried.
  • Have you tried converting the video into another format and try uploading that?
  • Possibly try with another video file, just a small unlisted one to test if its the file that has corrupted somehow, or YouTube doesn't like it?
Other than that, I can only say its a YouTube issue and it will be fixed soon, had a glance at Socialblade and I can see the subs dropping. Seems a bit odd to me unless they are all inactive accounts being closed :(

yer I've tried .MOV, .MP4 and .AVI :/ I guess I'll just have to wait.. and yer I think I have a load of inactive subscribers from when I made minecraft videos months ago, just wish youtube would remove them all in 1 big go..

that didn't help at all -.- did you even read the post?! what are you talking about? I'm a partner so I get unlimited upload size and length.. and the video file is only around 650mb's.

I meant the length and width. I had a file that was below the maximum file size, but when I made the image smaller it uploaded.
