UHF Wireless Lavalier Mic System

AreYouAwareBro

I check out your videos if you comment on mine!
I've been looking for a good quality wireless lavalier/lapel microphone that has an on camera receiver, preferably UHF rather than UPR.

Does anyone have experience with a wireless mic that picks up great sound but also has a nice range, ideally atleast 40 feet?

Please provide as much detail as you can about the mics you have experience with it would help me tremendously.

My budget is $400-600.

I also was planning on buying a wireless mic but will wait for now. I used the Sennheiser WE 100 g2 I think it was and it works pretty well. There is a newer version the g3 but never used that one.
At work we have the "Envoy eng audio rms 2020" I cant really find that much about it on the internet that quick but I never used it.

When I was looking for a wireless lav system it became pretty apparent that you could either spend a little money and get a really crappy system, or spend a lot and get a good one. I bought the Sony UWP-V6 (which will run you $600-$700) and it works perfectly. I'd look up reviews for that online and take it into consideration.

Thanks for the input, man! I was looking between the one you suggested the Sony UWP-V6 and the Sennheiser ew 112-p G3 and I'm honestly having a terribly difficult time figuring out which one I like more, due to people who do not know how to set the mics up correctly posting reviews and test footage on youtube. Both sound great on the videos where they, well, sound great. I've found footage though where both sound less than stellar due to static/hissing.

Do you feel strongly about either one, or think their rather interchangeable as they are both high quality around the same price range?

Well I've only used the Sony, but I can't imagine you can go wrong with either of them. I think they're both pretty popular.

Thanks brother, I'll continue to look into it a bit.
I used the sennheiser and it worked great. So if ThioJoe tells you Sony also works great you probably can't really go wrong. Maybe see how they conect to your camera and how you can adjust settings. Which device makes it the easiest for you.

Thanks for the input bruddah, puts me at ease for either choice now :)

What are you recording your audio with right now? It sounds pretty clean.

A professional grade shotgun XLR microphone, I just need the wireless system for when we are going out in public and talking to people or just getting far away from the camera in general.
