If you add your Twitter to YOUR YouTube account, then when someone else who has this box checked and their twitter added likes your video then it will auto tag you on that twitter post:

This is nice to see who likes your videos by getting notifications and also checkout their Twitter account and interact with them.

This is found under YouTube Settings > Connected Accounts

i like it when i get these notifications but i personally don't know if i want to turn it on myself, i admit i don't "like" many videos i only really like ones that make me really happy, i was meant to like yours as you mentioned me in it actually haha, but anyway i don't know if i want to spam my or anyone elses twitter with notifications when i like their videos but it is a good idea

Well thanks for telling me how to turn them off. I was always annoyed I'd tweet something every time I added a video to my playlist

I actually keep my @ name in every video title so it would tag me on twitter anyway so now it does it twice lol

Yeah that playlist tweet is annoying, that was shut down real fast.

I added my Twitter account so that I would get the notifications from others, but explicitly turned it off for me. So I can see when people like my videos, but people don't see when I like theirs. I will usually manually tweet or retweet them on a more selective basis, though.
