Twitch.TV OR Youtube live?

If you're trying to capture your Youtube audience, Youtube Live (but it has A LOT of delay), and use Twitch.tv if you're just trying to get some gamers interested in a particular game to check you out in addition to your faithful.

I seen a demo at Vidcon. I have made an account but I haven't tested it out yet. I just bought a webcam over the weekend.[DOUBLEPOST=1379990732,1379987999][/DOUBLEPOST]I should have given a few reasons why I was intrigued by Spreecast.
You can have around 3 or 4 people on camera. There is an audience like in a chat room. We can moderate the chat. We can selectively pick people from the chat to rotate people through the on-camera feature. It is free. If we want a digital copy of the event, there is a fee. Even though the event is free, we still retain copyright. With me having a family-friendly channel, I must have moderating capabilities.

That's the best I can recall off the top of my head so some info might not be accurate.

Isn't this basically Hangouts on Air with moderation capabilities?

Personally twitch takes the cakeas the chat is better, less delay, and (IMO) looks to be better quality when i stream with the same settings on both

Twitch is the best feature for engagement rich livestreams.

If your streaming and interacting with your viewers is a high priority (which is should be in most cases) then twitch is by far the better platform.

YT has a terrible chat system that has massive delay, they require much higher quality stream than twitch does for the same quality, and monetization is much more difficult. Literally the only bonus with YT is simply the fact that your subs will see the stream in their feed.

You can easily fix this by simply making a video promoting your stream anytime you start one up with a link to the stream and a call to action in the video.

Twitch partnership though is much harder to get than a yt partnership so keep that in mind.
