Meh, to each their own. Game of Thrones has pedos going after teenagers and messed up love stories and all those themes, but it's highly regarded as a great fantasy series.
I couldn't finish reading Twilight at all, couldn't get passed the first page, but that's more because I didn't like the author's writing style. Hunger Games I loved the first book, the other two made me want to tear my eyes out.
If you want a good book series, read the Dresden Files.
