I use Tumblr actively, and tags are a huge part of being found. Reblogging works nicely, unfortunately I don't have much of a following for it to work for me.

Oh yeah I totally think Tumblr has the possibility of giving your video/channel/content some traction, you just have to use it correctly.

Yup Tumblr has been great when you have a following that will reblog and share out your stuff.

You can use your YouTube username, it makes branding More consistent.
