There's this extension for Chrome called tubebuddy...Does anyone use this and if so, what exactly does it do and does it help your channel grow??

I think it's mainly for making it easier to find other YouTubers to collab with but i'm not 100% so i'd also be interested in finding out from someone who uses this.

We're just starting to watch YTTalk and respond to questions people have, so I'm sorry this response is so late. We're at the point where we've added quite a few tools, and almost all of them are aimed at helping your channel grow. A few are:
1. Bulk Update Annotations/Cards/Descriptions - You can easily add an annotation, card, or description update across some or all of your videos with a link pointing to your latest video. This helps keep existing viewers watching your videos as well as helping jump start growth of your latest video. Also it saves you time so you can focus on making content which is the most important factor in growth.
2. Community Connect - Makes it easier to connect with people who comment on your videos (via YouTube messages, Google+, etc.) to build loyalty and repeat viewers. Also allows you to contact people who comment on other videos similar to yours that you think might be interested in you content.
3. Tag Explorer - Helps you get ideas for new video topics. We also have a RankBoost took that let's you test different titles, keywords, and descriptions to see what causes your video to rank highest in search.
There are other features too (our website lists them and has videos for each one). Most of our ideas are requested by our customers so if you have any ideas for features that you'd find useful, we'd love to hear them. Hopefully that helps, but if you have any questions please let us know.
