Tube Toolbox

Hey guys - Phil here (creator of Tube Toolbox). Just wanted to say there is a great dialog going on. I wanted to point out with the 'hammer' issue - we do limit sending to the same speed that a human can do it. You can't go faster. We even video taped ourselves doing the tests to prove how long each action takes - youtube /channel/UCYgwwgv5-QnWd0Y5HbozuUw

Anyway - I'm here to answer any questions and I will do my best to just give straight, honest answers.

On a related note, we are creating a 'white hat' YouTube management product that we will be releasing soon for those of you who want to stay away from automated marketing.
Oh wow.. this is quite unexpected! Right off the bat I have a question for you Phil. Since I got the software a few days ago, I've been running the bulk contacts program, and after what I believe is about 2k-3k invites right now, I have seen no change in my subscribers/view counts, even though my contacts has gone up by about 50 per day.

Obviously this tactic isn't working, but I'm quite frankly terrified to try sending out messages using this program. As far as I know, and from what I've read about recent bannings on the Toolbox forums themselves, YouTube has been frowning on this and aggresive when it comes to banning users doing it. So what options do I have left?

I heard many success stories and even bad ones, i heard people got banned from youtube using tubetoolbox. So i have mixed feelings about this program...

With the TubeToolbox creator showing up after having just created his brand new account and it's his first post. This is not the first Tube Toolbox discussion that's happened and after a quick round of "search the google", the thread wasn't even indexed with any search terms I could find.

It's entirely plausible that the tool is legit and won't hurt you. I've been aware of it for a while on another forum unrelated to YouTube specifically. But you have to admit that everyone's apprehension followed by the creator showing up for his first ever post on the biggest YouTuber forum community on the net is a bit ... convenient.

I'm sure Tube Toolbox keeps an eye out on all the YT communities they can find, and if they see a thread that seems to need their help, they jump in.

That being said, I actually filed to cancel and refund my order today. There's been a lot of posting about users getting banned for sending messages over the past couple months, and now YouTube is cracking down on it's "human limits", in some cases doubling the times they allow you to send requests. The only thing I could use the tool for at that point was to send contact requests, and according to VidStats this gained me no additional subscribers, channel views, or anything noticeable. I am disappoint.

This isn't my first post. I have a profile for Tube Toolbox on here but can figure out the username/password because it has been so long. So I had to create a personal log-in. In fact, I know the owner of this forums and talk with him from time to time. I have Google Alerts set up for "Tube Toolbox" and this post came up so I thought I'd jump in. I have no idea why other posts didn't show up in my Goggle Alerts. I won't talk about my new product in this thread. I will start a new thread because believe it or not, the purpose isn't only to make money with a product, it's to help people. I want our new product to be a great tool for all YouTubers from the little guy, to Partners and businesses. I think using the YouTube API we can put some awesome features together. In the thread I will be asking what features people would love to have and we will add them.

@Shadeypwns - contact requests generally get you the weakest results but they are also the least risky. We haven't had anyone get suspended since last November and we have implemented several things to help protect people's account. Afterall, we can't survive as a company if we knowingly put people in danger. We have a 'risk meter' which shows you how risky your actions are and if you stay in the 'Low' risk, there should not be any problems. We are also working on features where instead of doing 1 continuous bulk action for 24 hours a day, you can send for 8 hours a day or 12 hours a day, etc and choose various actions like adding contacts, sharing videos, commenting, etc and it will rotate between those actions and between accounts.

Anyway, thanks for giving it a shot. I mentioned the web version of Tube Toolbox that we are working on and we'll be adding Share Video to that which uses the YouTube API so in theory, it should be 100% safe but we'll just have to see once it's implemented.

I like the sound of that rotation feature. It always makes me feel very obvious to have a program doing the same thing 24 hours a day. A mixture is good. I'm not sure if you were the one I emailed earlier today about my refund, but I would like to say that process was so easy and painless, and I was very thankful for that. As I said in my email correspondence, I will keep an eye on the product, and if these features you speak of are coming out, then chances are I would feel comfortable trying it out again. At the moment I just don't know enough about how YouTube's "spam report" function works, and it has me worried to send messages to anyone in fear of being instantly labelled as spam, regardless of intent. I have no intention of using fake accounts like other users do, as that just feels even dirtier.

Like I said, the features sound cool, I'll keep an eye out, I hope to see reassuring things in the future :)

You guys are going to have to take it to PM's now though. We don't allow other people here to represent their products unless they want to buy advertising. That goes for any software/website/product/network.
