Truth about most youtubers

I love making videos because it gives me the opportunity to express myself that I don't have IRL. I get to talk about my passions - music, gaming and wrestling. Not many people around me are interested in wrestling and video games, so it's nice to get to know other people who like the same things that I do.

Don't allow other people tell you to stop doing what you enjoy. It takes a lot of bravery to put yourself out there. It should be commended not critiqued

Be entirely focused on yourself. Worrying about what others think and say won't help you make progress.

A lot of people laugh at me for wanting to succeed on YouTube. "Yea your content is s***e mate" "you really do YouTube? It's pointless?"

Yes I would like to succeed on it. But I enjoy where I am now. If o couldn't grow anymore I would still do it. I love YouTube it's my passion and I will never quit. Let me know if you feel the same

My boyfriend's friends and football club are laughing at me the thing is they alk watch my video giving me views so i'm the one laughing :D

My friends were mocking me at a bday party just a few days ago. So I said,"Hey Ghandi said, first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they get angry at you, and then you win." Then I said, "Guess I'm at stage 2." Reality is, I think most people will mock you and say/think you'll never make it until you have like 20k subs or something that high.

I love this. This is quite motivating :)

I find making videos very addicting. And I'm averaging only $7 a month, so defiantly not in it for the money. I just love that I can connect with my readers on a whole new level. I'm an author and pretty much the only people who watch my channel are people who read my books. They are the same people I talk to on FaceBook and Twitter, only differance is with Youtube I can actual TALK to them instead of typing at them on status updates. I love the more personal connection youtube has brought for me and my readers

Haha not so much from friends, but from family.

I said "hey i started a youtube channel"
They say "get a real job"
