"Transfering" Videos from One Channel to Another

Munchito696

I Love YTtalk
Basically, my channel is cluttered with a bunch of videos that have nothing to do with each other and I've come to the conclusion that's why I can't get subs (667k views, 195 subs over 6 years, lol). I upload mostly dog videos and I want to unclutter my channel. Is it possible to transfer videos to another channel without losing views, likes, comments? I'm trying to figure out how to un-clutter my channel and right now it seems my only option is to create playlists or to delete half of my videos which I don't want to do. Any suggestions or tips would be awesome!

I don't think there's anyway to do this. The only thing you can do is reupload the videos. Or you could delete all the unrelated videos from your channel.

That's what I'm trying to avoid.... My highest viewed videos are non-dog videos and probably are the reason my dog videos even get views honestly, lol. I'm kind of stuck right now, I'm not sure what to do.

Tricky.

If you delete vids and reupload, it'll set you back in the short-term for sure. There'll probably be a period of a few months of your daily views across both channels being less than than what they are now as the videos take time to move up in the search. Having said that, if you're prepared for that, I think in the long-term you'll grow more. You'd be able to say your channel is about dogs, have a dog banner, say you'll be uploading more dog vids etc etc. You'll get more subs for sure.

Indeed, it would be the best choice to simply delete everything non-dog related and make it a dog channel and then work that out a lot. Make it look like a nice channel with just dog videos, that way viewers know what to expect and that will boost the daily views and subs coming in. Also it's best to make the change as soon as possible otherwise you'll only step back even further in time as soon as you make the change, and it will be longer until you reach the point of a healthy channel.
