Top ten earners on YouTube 2017

Is this data "fact" or "reference only"? Were superchat earnings significant for the top several channels on this list other than ads in the video earnings? or if most of the reserved ads show on those top channels above Ryan, then it is reasonable.

Every year YouTube HQ and regional YT don't feature certain channels and/or videos on the year end's top list. I can guess why they do this though.

Usually these figures are well researched estimates.
The BBC interviewed Daniel Middleton just a couple of days ago and mentioned to him that he had made GBP 12 million this year. He didn't deny it, which I'm sure he would have done if the figure had been grossly over estimated.
He came across as being very smart and businesslike. The BBC have posted the interview on their YouTube channel.
 
Ok, I see. The earnings were researched by media, it is not official statement by YouTube itself. There are many variables which media cannot possibly know but kudos to them if they more or less succeeded in estimating earnings.

It's the Forbes rich list. Forbes is a media company. Haven't you heard of it? It's a pretty well-known annual list of people's earnings and wealth across all sectors (not just Youtube) - They then create mini-lists by sector (example sports people, actors etc etc). The link I gave in the OP gives the source and their credentials. It's very similar to the Sunday Times rich list in the UK.
 
I hit 100k subs this week. Year to date. youtube ad revenue plus super chats was 40,065. I went from 28k to 100k in year 2017. Did a bit more than 14 million views.

Perhaps if others post their type of year in data, we can see how we are doing in these lower levels.

I checked out your channel, it's inspirational. Such a good example of how YouTube can be used as an excellent marketing tool for a business. You've put so much work into it...over 500 videos! Must be great to be reaping some financial results now. It looks like you have used things that happen in the day to day business as material for your videos too, that's something I want to start doing next year.
Have you seen an increase in walk-in customers to the shop as a result of the success of your YouTube channel?
Once again - massive kudos to you.
