Too Many YouTubers Playing Outlast?

If your fans are requesting you to play it..I would listen. They know what they want to see and it could not hurt! I agree with some of the previous comments, that your reaction will be different than those who have played it before you. Might be the same game, but different prespective. Have fun with it! Do not worry about what other people are doing.:bigrin2:

Lauren, I say do what you want. Personally as a reviewer and Let's Player, I will typically avoid playing the big game that is being played at the time because most people are already watching the big names play it. Smaller unknown games will draw a certain crowd that will eventually grow your views/subs.
 
two questions that will help you deside:

1. business side: do you have to sacrifice something else that would have given you more views?

2 personal side: do you want to play the game?

If your viewers are asking for it, you are guaranteed some views, which is always good.

If you do plan on leaving it til October to do a Horror/Scare Fest, let your viewers know and ask them to suggest other horror games.

1) Kinda, I've been stuck in ROTT on the 4th level and keep getting killed by the traps, thus it's not fun to redo a part multiple times because of that.

2) Yes!
 
Thanks for all the help guys! In case anyone was curious, I did decide to play Outlast and uploaded my first episode last night! I lost my VIP membership for the month so I can't post the link or video but it's the newest video on my channel. :) Definitely glad I decided to play, it's so much fun so far!
