you belive what you do, follow me on facebook, then you know when i start editing and when im done :) ever had a video.. and think.. thats not good enough? you seem like a person who edits.. thinks its all perfect and uploads.

Im a perfectionist and get mad if i see stupid mistakes.. which i still see yet fix :)

I often bin videos because I'm not happy with them and restart, I've viewed your videos and really do not believe someone has worked 9-12 hours on them, but I suppose that's my opinion.

You do realize that same thing can be said about your channel, that your are trying to impersonate RWJ in your clips.

I like watching gaming videos because of the gameplay, if your commentary is bad I will not watch it, that is why I never comment in my videos because I do not have that much of a Youtube voice, still working on it, don't know if I will ever achieve a Youtube proper voice that will not make the cats scream outside. Also if there is good editing or you are showing me some cool stuff then I will watch it. Seeing the next iteration of CoD videos gives me nausea that is why I unsubbed to MachinimaRespawn, it was fun the first months of CoD MW2, afterwards it became repetitive watching every 25 kill nuke.

I don't think other gaming channels affect me, everyone has the right to see whatever they want, all I can do is promote what I do in my spare time and do it better. True there are an abundant gaming channels out there, that is why I watch a select few and increase my subscriptions from time to time when I see something interesting or want to help somebody out.

For my Minecraft series, I spend over an hour on each 20-minute episode minimum. I cut out the dead air time and anything irrelevant, and focus on highlights/humorous parts from a recording session. I also pause the footage from time to time for about 5 seconds with a lovely sarcastic comment aimed at the most recent given scenario currently happening.
That's just one series.

Then factor in any intros you may have and the classic showcase outro(where you need to edit other footage in) and there's plenty of editing to do. Certainly seems a lot more time-intensive than a vlog where the cool thing to do lately is cut out every-single-pause-because-it-looks-cool-apparently.

Guess it kinda depends on the channel. I've seen gaming channels that do live sketch portions mixed in with gameplay footage and lots of commentary overlay. If it's just straight gameplay, no cuts and live commentary, then yeah it's like doing a quick vlog.

I think we do have too many gamers, i don't mean to offend anyone but i don't like video games, i personally think they're a waste of time. A lot of people would like see my channel and say that i should check out their channel and i'd be like.. yeah you're a cool person and all, but i don't like video games and i don't see anything interesting on here, it can't really be related to everyone and most people that do it aren't too good at it because of course usually you can only hear your voice and cannot tell if you are doing it well or you are just trying to impersonate someone or what..

Dont get me wrong, i know what RWJ does, and yet i try to keep it to my own style. there is always some one first... but not my point.. gamers are out there.. and some people game , record and upload. it caauses people with talent to sink in a deep hole to grow out of. tbh its up to them, but my point is, THERE IS A LOT OF GAMERS THAT THINK ITS EASY TO BE LIKE PEWDS XD.

I always thought being like rwj is easy... now i do it i realise its hard, but really love it :D people miss that in their vids... passion to the viewers.. not to be one that films because what they do is funny..
