Well, basically, you can't take any copyrighted stuff. However, you can parody. That is entirely legal. So have a lady gaga doll and put on the singing yourself and that should be fine.

Wait, so you infringe on copyrights even if you are just playing someone else's song with an acoustic guitar? People do that all the time, I thought you just couldn't have the actual recording in your videos... if I could get shut down for singing cover songs I'm in trouble.

I think cover are songs are fine! Don't see a reason why they wouldn't be... Think I read somewhere that Youtube doesn't tend to accept people who just do covers onto the partner program, mgiht be wrong though.
