Any tips and tricks for editing and recording gaming videos? My editing software is Imovie.

As far as editing goes- don't be afraid of the jumpcut and use of background music. You see a lot of kinda boring gaming videos because they dont cut out downtime or have anything to keep the interest on the video going.

Background music really helps with the video. It gets really awkward when all you hear is nothing

FRAPS is a good tool for game recording. I also heard action! is another. Is it PC games? Agree with the others, that good editing and music is a bonus.

Its mostly console gaming but I do dannle in the pc world.

I use game capture card. It depends on console. For example if you have Xbox one & Windows 10 you can stream & record the game to your PC. But I have a few consoles so capture card suited my needs.
