Tips?

Anyone have any tips for overcoming social anxiety? I went to do a public video and got all nervous and froze up when it was time to shoot!

I have some pretty bad anxiety as well, but I just tell myself that I probably won't see any of the people around me ever again, so it doesn't matter what they think of me.

Get yourself in a good state. For example, go around and say 'Good morning' to everyone you walk by. Do it to as many people as you can. Eventually you won't care about rejection and other people's judgements.

Imagine people in their underwear? :P

I don't think I can do public videos alone. I have to have a group of friends there to like pump me up beforehand and laugh at what is happening or else I just feel hella awkward :c

I highly recommend doing vids with your friends/family whenever possible it will make things more fun & less awkward

Yeah, thanks! I try to do stuff with friends a ton and but it came to me that I wanted to do this idea but then when I went to do it I could not go through with it lol

I remember doing my first 'outdoor' vlog and I was so worry about people staring at me it was kind of a disaster. I may not have totally mastered vlogging outside yet (although some people would say I have) but I'm well on my way. It takes time & practice to not be bother that an old lady across the street is looking at you funny :')
