Tips on Marketing an e-book on my Self-Help channel?

Posting Mad!
So I started up my channel just under 2 weeks ago now, offering self-help advice, some spiritual content, and general stuff designed to try and improve the person viewing the channel's lives. Now I want education to both be the source of my free content, *and* the paid content that'll allow the channel to thrive and survive in the future - so rather than my focus being on ads, branding, or any of that, I want to simply direct people to books, mentoring, and similar things.

So far I already have one e-book made up that I wrote before I began work on the channel so I could coincide its release with the release day for the channel itself. I'm happy with the quality of the book and think the price I'm asking for it is solid - but now what I need to figure out is, how best to advertise it on my channel?

Should I have cards referencing the e-book in all my videos? If so, is it better to show them at the start? Or the end? Or at strategic points in the middle? Should I be backing it up by giving people a verbal call to action to buy the ebook each video, or is that too pushy and likely to put people off?

I've got copies of Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, How To Win Friends and Influence People, and Primal Branding expected to arrive in the mail so perhaps those'll give me some ideas - but I'd like to hear your thoughts, how hard can I market my product without it detracting from my videos?

Tl;dr version for people who don't want to read it all:
- Small channel, have an e-book I want to sell to my viewers
- What are the best ways to market it during my videos?
- How often can I mention/card/reference it without it detracting from the videos themselves?
- Any other tips?

You definitely don't want to push the ebook..but definitely leave a little icon in your end credit and i would also put it in the description of every video. Occasionally put an ecard if you reference something from the book in a video.
If you consistently tell peopel to buy your book, they will stop watching. Just post a video, be like "here's my book, here's why you should check it out".. then follow the advice from above.
Check out tim schmoyers channel "video creators", he does this quite well

You could do it like Thomas Frank on his channel (CollegeInfoGeek). He shows the book at the end of his videos. The big difference, is, though, that he offers his book for free when you subscribe to his email newsletter. It's smart because that way he's able to build an email list that he'll be able to sell other stuff to in the future.
