Tips for getting comfortable in front of the camera?

Just be real.... I started doing takes alone cause I was nervous now I ask my Wife to be in the room just cause it helps me be real and laugh and have fun! Good Luck!

I am currently in your position as well. What I find helps is I will just stay infront of the camera and just keep talking stupid then ask myself (is this how I would really communicate with someone I am comfortable with?) then try again and just keep up the process until I get more comfortable.

I am still currently struggling with the strange sense of stage fright in front of a camera, but the best trick to overcome it is to just get infront of the camera and keep doing it over and over. Rewatching and slowly improving saying "wow that felt forced" or "huh that seemed really genuine" then just keep going form there.

The term "practice makes perfect" is key here.

I always freeze up and get nervous and forget what to see when i go in front of the camera.
Just keep practicing. Learn to hear the sound of your own voice and like it. And make silly faces in the mirror. Maybe when you are able to release that tension, your videos will show off your confidence and help get your brand across! :)

Some numbing technique isn't going to help, all that helps is practice. Why not just make a bunch of test videos (for just yourself) to see what you're doing right/wrong before you upload more?

This is excellent advice. There's nothing that is going to help you feel more confident than just doing it and looking at it with a critical eye (knowing that the pressure is less because only you will see it)
But know that most people are not super comfortable in front of the camera right off the bat - it takes a while to look at that lens like you're looking at a friend, and the only way to get there is by jumping in :)
