Tips for gaming channel

I'm not saying these channels won't work out, because they can and they do have potential, but if you do them you need to at least be pretty entertaining and make jokes throughout the video. Skip past boring parts and go straight to your highlights.

Gucci is right, a "gaming channel" can be many things. You could also be doing some sort of montage, parody or what ever gaming content.

I think it's wise to first get your main goal straight, what is it that you're doing with your gaming channel? Then perhaps we can give you some actual tips :)

The standard tips though, get your audio and video quality straight. This means a good microphone without echo and 1080p@60FPS gameplay, which is appreciated by viewers and makes you more credible :)

also thank you, what mic and webcam would you recommend "I'm in a budget too"
 
In all honesty, the cost of the mic does not reflect the performance of use.

Mine for example, the hyper X cost me £25 on sale and it sounds perfect.

You need to do research and shop around. Take the quantity of reviews that rate it substantially high as trustworthy.

I personally think the Blue Snowball iCe is a great first mic, not too expensive and actually sounds great when you play around and do some editing! I use it with Audacity and couldn't be happier with the results!
 
I agree with @Dean Lemon on the microphone, the Blue Snowball should be a great choice. If you're looking to step it up, get the Blue Yeti or Rode NT.

For a webcam, the Logitech C920 is the go-to choice. It's pretty much the best webcam out there, but a more budget friendly option would be the Logitech HD Webcam C270. Both are great, just make sure you have good lighting. Without that, no camera can look good :)
