Any valuable tips for startup gaming channel.
Here are honestly the only way I can see gaming channels work these days.
- Funny content (Luckily I've always been a jokester and my friends are retards so my channel is based around comedy and memeing around)
- REALLY SKILLED. You can pull off a gaming channel making montages on FPS games if you're half decent. I also upload montages occasionally because I can snipe pretty well.
- Game reviews. If you take this route you need to do a video on every new popular game releasing ASAP. This would obviously be hard because all the big youtubers will be doing it.
- Guides / Tutorials. This route isn't that bad but the video needs to be something that a lot of people would be searching for or something that is extremely uncommon. Like a funny glitch in a game or something.
Straight up "Lets Plays" and "Gameplay" channels don't work out that well most of the time simply because the people doing them either sound extremely boring or are a complete copy of all the other thousands of channels that revolve around it. I'm not saying these channels won't work out, because they can and they do have potential, but if you do them you need to at least be pretty entertaining and make jokes throughout the video. Skip past boring parts and go straight to your highlights.

Thanks I really appreciate the tipsI will go ahead and quote something I put in another post a couple minutes ago.

also thank you, what mic and webcam would you recommend "I'm in a budget too"Gucci is right, a "gaming channel" can be many things. You could also be doing some sort of montage, parody or what ever gaming content.
I think it's wise to first get your main goal straight, what is it that you're doing with your gaming channel? Then perhaps we can give you some actual tips
The standard tips though, get your audio and video quality straight. This means a good microphone without echo and 1080p@60FPS gameplay, which is appreciated by viewers and makes you more credible![]()
